A Major Like No Other: What the Masters Is
The Masters is the only one of golf’s four men’s majors played at the same course every year. Augusta National has staged it since 1934. The champion receives a green jacket, presented in Butler Cabin on Sunday evening by the previous year’s winner.

- Thursday and Friday, April 8–9: first and second rounds, with the cut made after Friday.
- Saturday and Sunday, April 10–11: third and final rounds. A tie after 72 holes goes to a sudden-death playoff.
