What is a parlay in sports betting?

A parlay combines multiple bets into one. All your selections must win to cash in, but the payout is bigger than betting individually.

For example, at bet365 you create a three-team NFL parlay:

  • Chiefs to win (-200)
  • Packers to win (-150)
  • Cowboys to win (-180)

Individually, these bets won’t pay a ton. But in a parlay, if all three teams win, you could turn a $50 bet into over $200. The catch? If any one team loses, the entire parlay loses.
