SPORTS betting has been legalized in New Hampshire, with the state passing the $1billion mark for sports bets wagered since its introduction in 2019.

The online service was launched via the DraftKings sportsbook app, with a number of land-based sportsbooks available, and more expected to be added to the sports betting service in the coming months – six cities approving legislation to set up retail sportsbooks.

While there are, in effect, casinos operating, the state has banned commercial casinos and New Hampshire is expecting to see a major expansion of its sports betting services this year.

New Hampshire has also benefitted from stricter gambling laws in neighboring states – more than a quarter of all Super Bowl wagers came from Massachusetts zip codes. The only limit to New Hampshire online sports betting is that they are placed inside state borders.
