- Deposit £10 or more with a debit card. Do not use PayPal, Apple Pay or any of the other excluded methods.
- Place a single bet of £10 or more at evens or bigger. Use your cash balance, and choose a real sports market rather than virtual racing or football.

What the conditions mean for your bet
It must be a single. A £10 treble at 5/1 will not qualify, however attractive the price. A £10 single at 11/10 on a football match will.
Evens or bigger. A £10 single at 4/5 does not count. If it wins at 6/4, you collect £25 of your own money, and the free bets arrive either way.
Bet Builder only. The free bets can only go on Bet Builder markets. A four-leg football Bet Builder at 4/1 that wins returns £40 from a £10 free bet; the stake is not returned.
Full stakes. Each free bet must be used as one £10 stake. You cannot split it into two £5 bets, and any unused part is lost.
Shops and phone excluded. The offer is online only, and is not available to anyone who already has a William Hill online account.
Our tip for the Bet Builder free bets
Because the stake is not returned, Bet Builders at moderate prices tend to give the best value. Two or three related legs from the same match, such as a favourite to win, over 1.5 goals and the favourite’s main striker to have a shot on target, will usually produce a price between 2/1 and 5/1 with a realistic chance of landing. Stacking six or seven legs for a huge price looks exciting, but it usually means losing the free bet.
What can void the FBB40 offer
William Hill’s terms are clear about what ends your claim, and most of it happens around the qualifying bet.
- Cash out or a void. If the qualifying bet is cashed out or voided, you are no longer eligible.
- The wrong bet type. Multiples, including Trixies and Lucky 15s, do not qualify. It has to be a single.
- Virtual markets. Virtual horse racing, virtual greyhounds and virtual football are excluded.
- The wrong channel. The offer is not available in shops, by telephone betting, or to anyone who already has a William Hill online account.
- The deposit method. PayPal, Neosurf, Paysafe, Apple Pay, NETELLER, Skrill, ecoPayz, Kalibra/Postpay and the WH PLUS Card are excluded.
Racing fans can still qualify with a £10 single on a real horse at evens or bigger. The four free bets then go on Bet Builders, and any part of a free bet you do not stake is lost.
