The Emirates FA Cup is run by The Football Association and is open to clubs from the Premier League down into non-League football. The early qualifying rounds start in August; two clubs reach Wembley in May.

Premier League and Championship clubs join at the third round in January. The semi-finals, like the final, are played at Wembley. The quarter-final weekend falls a week before the Grand National.
